FAQs
Can I visit my horse while it’s in livery?
Yes — owners are welcome to visit. We ask that these visits are scheduled in advance so they don’t clash with viewings or training sessions.
What is included in the sales livery service?
Our sales livery covers daily care, turnout, schooling, professional presentation, media production, enquiries, viewings and negotiation — everything needed to showcase and sell your horse.
How much does the service cost and how are fees structured?
We charge a weekly livery fee for care and training, plus a pre-agreed commission when the horse is sold. All third-party costs (vet, farrier, transport, competition entries) are billed at cost.
What does schooling livery include?
Our schooling livery provides full daily care plus a tailored training plan to suit each horse’s needs. This may include flatwork, polework, jumping, hacking, and groundwork to improve balance, confidence, and rideability.
How long should I send my horse for schooling?
Most horses benefit from a 2–6 week programme, depending on goals such as improving fitness, manners, or competition readiness. We’ll discuss a suitable timeframe before arrival.
Can I visit or ride my horse during schooling?
Yes — owners are welcome to visit or have lessons during their horse’s stay. We’ll coordinate times to fit around training sessions.
Are all horses vetted before sale?
All horses are open to full vetting by the buyer’s chosen vet. We can help coordinate vettings, X-rays, and transport if needed.
Can I get ongoing support after purchase?
Absolutely. We’re happy to offer aftercare advice, schooling sessions, or competition training to help ensure a smooth partnership and successful start.
